O'Hare International Airport (ORD)
Today I continue my "Windows" theme. I was struck by the pleasing shapes and also by the layering of window upon window. I like O'Hare because of its bird-chirping baggage trains, the flags and globes above the walkways, the interesting people, the occasional dinosaur skeleton, and most of all because I have never been through O'Hare when I wasn't going someplace really interesting (or maybe returning). This trip it was Portland to London.

I hope you are able to go through there again in not to distant future.
Why I love reading your descriptions:
"I was struck by the pleasing shapes and also by the layering of window upon window."
I would never have realized it was "layering of window upon window." Perfect way to put it. You can WRITE!
And you have an eye for detail, things that I would never have noticed if you didn't photograph them and point them out with words! Double whammy. Perfect!
I love the lines in this photo! Great picture, and what a beautiful airport.
A wonderful composition! Great light, too and you say, "pleasing shapes."
I used to fly in and out of O'Hare frequently but that was back in the 70s. This does not even look familiar! :-)
Cool! (And Catherine is right, of course.)
