There's a factory here that specializes in big heads and occasionally whole bodies. The bewhiskered guy between Reagan and Obama is Martin Van Buren. The ones we saw were mostly U.S. Presidents, but some were not Presidents. The one on the left looks to me like Rock Hudson. Any ideas?

Odd. These look like fiberglass, but I didn't think anyone in the States would use that... it's a "dirty" process. We have factories in the Philippines making huge fiberglass figures too. Can't help you to name any, but is that first one really Obama? Not a very good likeness... I wonder where these busts go...
Francisca - I believe many of them end up in shopping malls and such places. I also think they may have been made of fiberglas, and yes, we do use a lot of it in the U.S. Or, if there's been a change I haven't been anyplace where I would notice. I'm not sure what you'd replace it with.
A place like this would surely get a laugh from me. What an odd sight!
An unusual sight to be confronted with. It looks like Rock Hudson to me too.
No no .. I think the one on the left is Clinton. I agree with Francisca, that the bust of Obama is not very true to life. Not in my opinion.
I'm with Julie, I'm sure it's Clinton...
Hmmmm, maybe "swollen heads" might be a better description? They all tend to be a little "over-idealised" and they would be hideous placed anywhere...
My vote goes to Clinton for the mystery head ID.
