London ~ February 14, 2010All pavement photos are not pretty, but they're interesting in their own way. One of the first things that caught my attention was the incredible variety of metal covers and gratings, their interesting patterns, the words saying where they're located or where they are made. Love the cowboy boot.

I agree with you... "not pretty" can still be interesting. City street grates ARE very interesting. I often notice them, but have not thought to photograph them. Good for you!
The pattern is very interesting but I also like the different faded colours of the ground tiles.
