Sometimes Even Ships Have Signs

Astoria, Oregon ~ January 27, 2012

The NYK Line's Neptune Leader passes downtown Astoria, giving people like me with a moderate zoom lens a good view of the pilot boat in action.

Today I'm taking part in Signs, Signs. Hop on over!

It's so nice to see you back! I love this shot! Great composition and the sign made me laugh.

Cute sign! Love how expansive it seems out on the water.

What great photos...love the colors, too. That first one brought a smile to my face. I suppose it means the freighter doesn't need a tugboat but that must exempt a pilot boat.

I'm not going to ask how "indisposed" you are today. Hopefully, not at all, and you decided against the liquor solution - esp. seeing as how you had the flu. I was quite good - had only a couple of glasses of wine.

even tugs need to know where to park themselves :)

VERY nice! I really like seeing the tug in action. You have a lot of photos ops where you live.
