I don't get the symbolism...but I like the photo - the circle around and the man walking through it...

I love how many of the "malls" in Rome had these tiles with decorative motifs. I remember one that had all the signs of the zodiac which was pretty cool. This one is neat too. I guess the owner is named Giovanni. ;-)
