Hawk
Astoria, Oregon ~ November 10, 2008
This hawk was sitting high on the radio tower when I came home from a walk late one afternoon. The camera lens makes him look much lower to the ground than he was. Even from that distance he was very wary of me, and he flew off almost as soon as he saw me. I see many hawks when I'm driving in Oregon, but very few here by the Columbia River in Astoria.
