These lovely windows that seem to combine Gothic and Baroque (?) elements can be found near the corner of Merton and The High Street, although the main facade is on the other side of the building.

I've read so much about Oxford and lately have been reading the autobiography of Chris Hitchens who spent several years at Oxford...I'm delighted as to how your photos bring the place to life.
I'm claiming the turret room for myself! Hopefully whoever is in it will be out by the time I arrive! ;-)Absolutely lovely building!
