I'm from California but we lived just a few miles away from that airport from Feb 2007 until may 2009. April 13th 2007 was my first experience with severe weather and tornado sirens. My wife and I were on our way home from an early dinner when all heck broke loose. Then a siren that was right next to our car started and scared me half to death. We made it home and watched and listened to the storm with amazement. To this day that was the second worst storm I've witnessed. To be honest I miss the excitement but the damage is always very sad.

Tornado warning! I don't know what that is and don't want to know... Antigua Island was hit by a (not very strong) hurricane when I was there and that was enough for me! :-)
