New York ~ May 6, 2009This manhole cover was made in India. There were some interesting comments when I posted another metal cover in Astoria, Oregon, that was also made in India. Especially check out the comment by Kcalpesh on that post. I thought maple leaves were the symbol of Canada, so maybe this is a secret passageway to our neighbor to the north.

India and Canada in Manhattan! It makes sense as NYC must be the most multicultured city in the world. :-)
